“Connecting with others in an authentic and human way is the driving force behind Blossom with Yoga.”

Where doing meets being — and listening happens within the rush.

I am a doer — full of energy, ideas, and purpose. My professional life as an environmental activist keeps me closely connected to the world, working to protect the ocean and promote change that truly matters. As a mother and stepmother of five, my days are full, rich, and sometimes overflowing — just like life itself.

Yoga is where I come home to myself. It is the space where movement meets stillness, and where strength softens into presence. Teaching allows me to share this balance with others — creating a space where we can reconnect to our bodies, our breath, and our deeper selves.

Curiosity is at the heart of my practice. I am constantly exploring yoga in all its forms — not to master it, but to understand it more deeply and to let it keep transforming me. This continuous learning informs how I teach: with authenticity, care, and an open heart.

Each of my classes unfolds around a simple theme — simplicity, balance, humility, joy, strength — small words that open big doors. My approach to yoga is not about performance or perfection, but about presence: learning to be fully here, in movement and in stillness, with compassion and courage.

Blossom with Yoga: why and how?

Yoga is much more than a way of doing physical exercise. It covers all aspects of life, not only what you do on the yoga mat. It is a spiritual path offering tools to blossom into your more authentic self. As the famous yoga teacher, BKS Iyengar, said: “It is through your body that you realise you are a spark of divinity.”

My yoga classes are a sanctuary for people who give so much to others and long to reconnect with themselves — body, mind, and spirit. In a supportive and intimate atmosphere, we combine mindful movement, strengthening postures, and restorative practices to cultivate balance, vitality, and calm. The classes are grounding yet energizing: gentle when needed, but also physically engaging to build strength and confidence, especially for women navigating transitions such as perimenopause and beyond.

This is more than yoga; it’s a moment to pause, to breathe, and to remember who you truly are beneath the pace of daily life. A space to move, to rest, and to reconnect — with yourself and with a community that shares the same intention to live more consciously and wholeheartedly.

This greater connection inward lead us to a sweeter and more meaningful awareness and enjoyment of the world around us.

“Flaminia's yoga classes are quite special to me. Far from the 'fitness' type of yoga we usually find in big yoga institutions in Brussels, her classes focus on mindfulness and energising the body through very well thought-through series of postures. Her classes are usually logically structured around a specific theme and allow you to progress in your practice whatever is your level. I am amazed how much I gain energy from her classes!”
